I'd like to say things won't change, I mean if she's been so great... But it seems that you just can't predict MILs. I hope for your sake though that she stays the same. Dealing with MILs who don't know their place is rather annoying.

amber1214 that's horrible!!! See I got off fairly lucky. It's only my MIL who voices her opinions when no one wants them. My FIL will keep his mouth shut even if he doesn't agree with what's going on. My SIL just doesn't get involved and doesn't take sides. She's pretty sweet I won't lie haha. I hope they all turn around for you

I am sorry you're dealing with an awful MIL! Rather than an awful MIL I have an awful mom and grandma oh and maybe even a dad. Every time we've told them we are pregnant I always get yelled at, told how disappointed they are in me and my lack of understanding how to prevent pregnancy. Now let me just say that all 3 of our kids were planned, we're married, we have our place, yeah we rent but that's because we don't want to buy because we don't know where we are going in life, but anyway... I am sorry no less. It's awful and it can really take the joy out of expecting or wanting to expect.

I really feel for people who are stuck with the stereotypical "mother-in-laws." I have been lucky enough that my mother-in-law treats me like her own daughter, as long as I take care of her own son. lol

We haven't told anyone we are NTNP, but that's mostly just because it isn't anyone else's buisness. Though I know my father-in-law is constantly poking me about giving him a grandson! lol
