My daughter is now 16 months old and I have had hard core baby fever for about 3 months. We got pregnant really quick with my daughter but I just got off depo so now I am scared that it is going to take a long time or that I will have a miscarraige from the depo (I've read lots of stories). This is all just driving me crazy.

Sometimes reading too much can definitely be scary! But that's why boards like this are so awesome for the support, as well as the GOOD stories

I'm terrified of it myself (I had an issue with my first that apparently 99% don't survive, but I was lucky..and I'm terrified it'll happen again)... but I can't let the fear rule me or make the decision for me. I want to at least try!

I was on the deppo shot when I was 20 years old (26 now) and my Dr told me it can take up to a year for it to leave your system completely depending on your body. BUT thats not everyone! I've never heard of increased risk of miscarriage from it though but if it makes you feel better I have a very healthy six month old I agree the internet searches can be scary.
It took three years to get pregnant with my first and surprisingly I had my second 19 months after him!
