Here's a listing of sensitivities for common pregnancy tests:

I've found the First Response 6 Days Sooner tests to be very sensitive. Also, the "internet cheapies," which you can order from Amazon.com or other websites. They're very cheap, too. Other than that, my go-to tests are the Walmart or dollar store tests.


I'd stay away from blue-dye tests. They're bad about showing false positives/evaps. Also, digital tests are not good to take early, because they're less sensitive. And there's now a First Response RAPID Result test--don't confuse this for the First Response EARLY Result/6 Days Sooner test, because it's not as sensitive.

I think the First Response Early Result are the most sensitive, detecting hcg at 6.5 miu.
