How often do you read to your toddler?

Lauren doesn't like to be read to, she won't stay still for it actually. Sometimes I'm able to read her a page or two before she runs off to some other toy. I read to her while she is in her bed sometimes but I'm a huge advocate for reading and I don't feel I do it enough. I'm thinking of taking her book shopping for her Bday, kinda hoping if she picks out the books herself she will be more interested in them.

We spend a large majority of the day reading....then both boys get to take a few books to bed. They will normally read for a bit before going to sleep/after they wake in the AM.

Connor loooooves books. I read to him quite a bit during the day and of course at bedtime too. Also, the only way he'll lie still for diaper changes is if he has a book to "read."

**thanks to trish for C's birthday siggy**
