Hey. I have a son who will be 3 in a couple weeks. We have just started his developmental assessment. We are going to see an OT on Tuesday for an assessment. I talked to them a little about my concerns about SPD. They gave me the SPM - Preschool form to fill out and bring home. I had a peek inside and on a separate sheet of paper I filled out the numbers and looked up online how to calculate his score. I have no patience. lol Turns out he is in the 99%tile for pretty much everything. I knew he had a lot of sensory issues but I didn't think he would score that high....

Any thoughts?? Did you find out exactly what percentile your child falls into as far as sensory issues?

They also recommended that when he has his fits, to take him to his room and let him boil off on his own in a safe environment. So just a mattress and his blankies. Nothing else in the room. Feels so mean but they say its alright.

There is just sooo much going on with him. Its so overwhelming for me.
