Hey everyone! It's been some time since I've been here. When I "left" JM two months ago to dive into blogging I never imagined I'd completely forget to visit again!! Thanks to Crissy PM'ing me I found my way back!! Well, updates abound, so I'll get started.

1. Molly started in her special needs preschool on September 24th. At the time she had a vocabulary of 25 consistent words. She was silent 90% of the time, the rest was mostly jabber with the occassional real word mixed in. She had no hunger cues and was 22lbs.

2. It is now 3 months later. 3 months of 3.5hrs/day, 2X/week. Molly weighs almost 25lbs. Her vocabulary has shot through the roof - she's saying close to 90 words regularly now (at least)!! She picks up words so easily (including the bad ones...oops, daddy), and is now able to show us JUST how smart she is!! She's also no longer the strong silent type. She talks as much as she moves (which is a LOT since the ADHD is in full force).

3. Molly also has learned her right from her left (she's still only 2yrs8mo old). She's picking up her ABC's too, thanks to her favorite thing...a PUZZLE!! We go down the line and say "Where' the A?" And she has to pick it out of the massive pile. It's so cute when she spreads her arms out in the questioning gesture and says "Where da X?" She just likes to say it....she knows what they are.

4. In other worlds...I've started a blog Redefining Perfect. The world of blogging has sucked me in very fast. It's been great. I have a regular segment (or I will again starting tomorrow) called "Terminology Tuesday" that I give facts around different medical things. I'm always looking for guest bloggers, or suggestions...so contact me if you want to participate!

5. The rest of the fam is doing good. K's CF has been mostly well-behaved with the exception of a Thanksgiving scare where she got sick.

So Molly is our biggest update! *lol* I hope everyone's Christmas was good and that 2008 is kind to us all!!!
