This is exciting news to me! I had a good discussion with Sydney's doctor and I'm feeling a little more relaxed about getting some of her vaccines done now - maybe I can have her tested for this defect first

I still wouldn't vaccinate her to be honest.

For a long time now doctors and scientists have known that there is a genetic link or reason for autism but there has to be triggers to set it off. It's those triggers that are in dispute and one of the big disputed triggers is immunisation. It's for that exact reason that as soon as I knew I was having another baby I did everything I could to avoid the 'so called triggers', I avoided all stress during pregnancy, I had a c/s to completely avoid birth trauma (my first son who has autism suffered severe birth trauma), no needles at all, I desperately tried to breastfeed but my milk didn't come in so I chose the best formula I could with high levels of omega 3s etc, no upsets, no prolonged crying etc.
