My son was born very premature.... 3 exact months before his due date. We've delt with the usual developmental delays, mostly dealing with speech now. He recieves at home therapies from ECI (Early Childhood Intervention).

They are pretty sure that he is showing key signs of being Developmentally Dyspraxic. Has anyone had any experiences with this?

Currently on a TTC Break due to 3 lost pregnancies. Planning to get back in the game in Aug 2008 after a (hopefully) great summer break with the family.

My best friends son (now 7) has dyspraxia. He didn't have any development delay but has all symptoms of sensory processing disorder. As a baby he has huge stranger anxiety and cried almost all the time. He would always stay home. He was extremely sensitive to sound and would shreak when he heard music or vacuum cleaner. Slowly after so much therapy, he looks pretty normal but still has difficulty to write. He can type on the computer. He can ride a bicycle. But at times he speaks very loudly and is still quite uncomfortable in a social gathering. He has a learning disorder but pehaps he will cope as time passes. Things change a lot. He had so much speech problem but now he is quite clear. If there is anything else you need to know please ask.

Good Luck
