Or at least for awhile. My parents took Jordon picking last week & they gave me 10lbs of them. Jordon tired out after an hour of picking because it was in the 90's & he was too hot & tired. At least I have tons to make jam with...his fave!!! I'm so sick of cleaning, taking the stems off & freezing them! I have strawberries coming out of my ears! My parents went back the other day & got themselves another 15 lbs worth...I don't want anymore I have tons to make pies & stuff with to last me awhile. The boys love eating them with cool whip though, so they won't be here forever.

Jordon is the same way....so glad he likes fruit. I've been putting them in his cheerios & he likes that...he'll often leave the cereal though After they went, he came home telling me he didn't eat any while picking. I asked why not...he says he didn't want to take them without paying, it wasn't right. Awwww...I had to chuckle My parents tried explaining to him he could eat some....he told them he was going to ask the people first, but he said he got too shy to so he waited until he got home

Sounds like you've done a great job instilling that lesson, Mommy!
