Since it's summer...I'm just curious how many of adults use sunblock or some sort of SPF on ourselves?

If I am going to be outside for more than 30 minutes I do and I use AT LEAST an SPF 36, although I prefer 50 (but it seems to be harder and harder to find). I am WHITE WHITE WHITE, blonde hair, blue eyes, and NO tanning ability whatsoever. I burn, turn red as a strawberry, hurt, peel, and go back to being white, there is no "well, I burn but then I turn a nice brown after a day or 2", no not that way for me. So, I prevent the pain and hassle of a burn by SPF-ing up if I am out more than 30 minutes. Same with my son, if he's out for more than 15 minutes, I spray him as well. I got burned in January out here and it was one of the worst sun burns I have had in a LONG time. Didn't make that mistake again, summer, winter, whatever, if it's sunny, or even cloudy I spray myself.

My face lotion has an SPF of 10 in it so I guess using that everyday would kind of count, right? I use it daily under my make-up.

I actually tan pretty good and the kids do too but we try to use a sunblock when we go outside (our house sits in full sun!)...at least a 30 on the kids and a 15 on me. My DH burns and needs a 50 although...with owning a home and being in the yard doing work...he does get a little color.

I always put it on when I'm going out with the kids...other times I tend to forget But they know they have to have it on when they go out, so I put it on me to set a good example...Jordon always reminds me to put it on right after I do them

I'll put it on when we go to the beach or if we're spending the day at Disney, but day to day I dont even think about it. I guess I only think about it when it's going to be long exposure, or skin that really doesn't see much sun. I just use Michaela's 45 spf if we're out all day.
