Hello everyone my name is Kishia. My daughter Bria will 16 months on the 11th and I have just started introducing her to the pot. I hope to have her potty trained by the time she is 18 months.

Hi Kishia,

Welcome! I'm new here as well, but definitely not new to potty training, so I wanted to take a second and wish you luck in your new endeavor!

Not sure if your child is showing signs or readiness or if you have a method/plan in place, but it's definitely a good idea to have one. It can reduce confusion and not prolong the process further than you want it to.

These are some key items I tell all mothers when they are starting off potty training their little ones:
1. You have to be 100% committed
2. You have to stay positive
3. You have to be consistent

Doing ALL 3 of these is key to a successful potty training implementation. If you want some guidance, feel free to check out simplypottytrain . com. You may find some useful information.

Well, good luck! And please chat back in and let us know how your progress is going!
