This is a great website for getting the fiber that you need in order to be regular. This site is for adults, but using for kids under 10 you will want to use the following rule:

10g + child's age

So, if your child is 8, they will need 18g of fiber in their diet.

The chart on the website is ranked from the highest fiber foods to the lowest fiber foods.

I read 10 + age and thought that it was 5 + age....so I went on a research mission.

this is what I found:

5 + age:
Random House - Spider - FamilyEducation.com

Fiber for Kids - How to get Kids to eat Fiber - How much fiber should kids eat

based on age and much higher than 5 (or 10) + age:

Boosting Fiber in Kids

So happy i came back to this site, my oldest son is 6 years old n since we've put him in underwear (he has some disabilities so we started potty training late) he doesn't like going number 2 at all, so this month we have given him anemia's which aren't fun at all, finally got him a doctor appointment for the ninth. hoping its nothing seriously, i've brought this problem up to his doctor last month or two when we last seen her she told me to limit his kool laid cause of all the sugar, i told her how bad it was she still didn't order no test or anything... guess i gotta wait til the ninth hopefully she well help other wise ill find a new doctor.

thank u GraysMama
