What do I do during nap time and for bed time? I know he's not going to wake up and go or tell me anytime soon.

With my son, I put him in pull-ups for nap and bedtime.

Get your son used to the idea of going to the potty first consistently before doing the nap and night training. Nap training will go much smoother over night training, so that will probably come on his own. And when you do, invest in some mattress saver pads that go under the sheets. Will save your mattress

But yeah, don't worry about those just yet until he's consistently going
