Hi everyone. I have a 3 and a half year old who is doing excellent with using the toilet and staying dry at home. DH and I still let him wear diapers when we are at the mall or just out and about. We are a bit scared of what will happen with him in underwear. The thing is, obviously we can't do this for much longer. I don't want to confuse him. I am also a bit of a germaphobe, and abhor public toilets. What do you ladies do with toddlers when out. I thought about bringing a cup or something. Can someone please give me some advice on how to sanitarily take care of his needs whether that be in the public restrooms or whatever. I feel bad making him wear the diaper outside. He is so proud of his underwear when we are at home. Thanks everyone.

I saw at a toys r us folding potty seats for travel. you can stick them in a diaper bag and they flip open to fit on a publc toilot. Mine will not go in public bathrooms because she is scared of the automatic toilots flushing on her
Thank you peimum for my beautiful siggy.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into that. I did hear about a sort of sanitary cup that is available to travel with and have kids pee in that. I will also look into that. I just wish public restrooms were cleaner.
