I am around 4 weeks 6 days pregnant but I am unsure bc i have irregular cycles. I went in and my beta was 174 on Wednesday. I also had an ultrasound with an ancient looking machine. They didn't see the gestational sac but my OB said it was too early. There was thickening in my lining and she saw a cyst on my ovary. I goggled it and it is called a corpus lutem which maintains the pregnancy until the placenta takes over at 12 weeks. She said to go back if I had any one sided pain because they hadn't located the pregnancy yet and couldn't rule out an ectopic.

I was having excruciating left side pain and went in for a clearer ultra sound. They found THREE cysts on my ovary. Does anyone know if this is abnormal? I don't have a history of cysts and had a transvaginal ultrasound about 3 cycles ago to check ovulation and I was cyst free. Does that mean 3 eggs were released this cycle? I am sorry if that is a dumb question. Any information would be appreciated. I am really freaked out and in a lot of pain.
