We had our anatomy scan today and baby girl only has two vessels in her cord. The tech didn't seem too concerned, didn't mention any other concerns and said she was measuring great just a little on the small side so they want me to have another ultrasound at 32 weeks to check her growth.

Has any one else had this before? What was your experience with it? I'm not too stressed but my DF is kind of freaked out.

Ry, happily engaged to Zach.

My DD had it. My doctor told me not to worry, and that it's actually pretty common. Of course, you still worry though, it's your baby. She turned out perfectly fine though. Because she has SUA, I was monitored more closely and considered high risk. I had more ultrasounds because of it too. Started with every 4 weeks, then every 2, and then towards the end every week. Had to have biophysical profiles every week. I'm actually grateful I had all of those extra ultrasounds, not only to see her more often, but to make sure she as growing properly.

But yeah, it's common. In fact, I was a SUA baby as well, lol. As you can see, DD is a thriving 5 year old now. She was born 6 lbs 7 oz, a little small, but not totally.
