Hello! Im obviously not a mommy, but stumbled through this forum, and given my wife is super upset and in no mood to even go online, I really needed to get this out of the way and just seek advice and help!

Supposedly my wife is 6 weeks 6 days in the pregnancy. We went today to do an ultra sound and hear a baby's heartbeat, however the doctor told us, she couldnt find one and that embryo isnt formed yet, and that we either have the dates wrong or it might be a false pregnancy...

The minute she uttered the words false pregnancy, my wife went into a shock and is super depressed and I did not understand how can this doctor give this diagnosis so early on... Here are some of the facts and numbers we have hoping you can put my mind at ease:

GSac is 11 Diameters and YOLK sac is 2mm - her HCG serum is at 14935 as of 5 hours ago. Her last period started on December 10th 2018.

Are we a bit early for a heartbeat and an embryo?? Is that dr. right in her assessment ? We are in panic mode , and think we will opt for a second opinion, but your feedback really matters!
