I was wondering if anyone had any recipes or ideas for meals to freeze for when the new baby comes home. I have 13 weeks left I also have a 5yr old and will be breast feeding so please keep in mind greasy foods and spicy foods are out of the question. Thank you!

Yes chicken pot pie is great and plus its winter time comfort food. The BEST recipe is from The Pioneer woman's website. I made it like 4 times in the past 2 months and its soooo good. She also has some freezer meals too.

I know I did this with my 1st pregnancy (freezing meals) and I froze chili, enchiladas, soup (chicken noodle) and some other stuff. But it saved me time and I ate great! It took me about 2 days of cooking to come up with 8 different meals.

Preparing and freezing meals before the baby comes is a great idea. One of the things we made that I was able to eat was a simple chicken and rice dish.
