help? eye injury question

first, head to my blog to see the pictures (or my fb if you're with me there)

Sammy's eye injury

then, here's my question.....when he cries, the cut bleeds and that's when he gets blood in his eye. I should take him to the dr to make sure he doesn't get infected right?

this is one of those situations where I'm totally questioning myself.

I would err on the side of caution and take him in to get it checked out - especially since it's bleeding into the eye. KUP!
