What is the one piece of baby gear that was the very best purchase you made and you would advise for every new mom to be?

What was the biggest waste of a purchase and one you would advise against?

I would say the best thing I got was a nipple bottle washer for the dishwasher.

The worst was binkies LOL my kids never liked them. But I think that is more kid dependent.

Thanks .:Shortcake:. for my great siggie

Best: Either the stroller, or the bottles with liners. We used the stroller a lot, and the liners were the easiest thing to use with Formula feeding.

Worst: Diaper Genie...

I've been a nanny and seen many baby items and have gotten a good idea of what I like and don't like.

The Diaper Genie is not that easy to use! It also sorta hurts your hand when you stick the diapers in. The liners can be expensive as well.

I like Diaper Champ! You can any bag for them and it's so simple to use!

Best: the swing! Mine both often napped in it and loved being in it awake too. Great place to put baby while you get the vaccuuming/dishes/laundry done

Worst: The pack and play. Neither of mine would sleep or play in it

I think my baby carrier was best, especially when I had my second. I could keep him close and keep my hands free to help my first!! A double stroller with the second too was priceless!

I use my pack n play all the time even now. So much so that with #3 we need a new one, the old one is so beat up from my boys!

Diaper gene does suck!! I used it for about 2 months with my first and never used it again!

Best- My Boppy pillow, with how much I used that thing it has paid for itself 10 times over. I breastfed for 15 months so I CONSTANTLY used it but even if I didn't BF I still used the pillow to rest her on and other things. It awesome, could not have survived without it. I also like my little soother that you strap to the crib and it sings, works wonders for naptime.

Worst- Pacifiers & wipe warmer, never really used either!
