do you use a special voice when you talk to babies or animals??

My husband and brother-in-law mock me (and my mom and sis) b/c of the way we talk to our animals! lol I guess we're just weird!

No to both. We never did the special talk or baby talk to our kids. We always talked to them with a normal tone and full sentences. I think we are the minority on this. People would always talk to our kids with the baby talk and we would ask them not to. Yeah we are the weird ones. But I feel because we did this it contributed to their huge vocabulary. At a very early age they were talking in full sentences. I dunno I may be full of it too, it probably had nothing to do with it lol.

Yep! It's not really your typical high-pitched "baby talk" but we do use all kinds of silly voices. My DH is especially good at that.
Thanks to Kiliki for my super cute siggy!
