do they attend private/public schools? My oldest son attend public schools and I really wanted him in private. However, his father refused to let him go because he said that if the Mayor (whom he is best friends with) children can go to public school, why can't our child? I was also interested in those who home schooled their children and how do you like it.

My children arent at school yet but my 4yr old starts next yr and we have been looking into both the private and the public school. After looking into both we have decided to go the public school as its a smaller school and less children in each class room which is what we prefer.

My oldest son (8 - 3rd grade) is in public school. His dad and I are divorced and he refuses to allow me to homeschool.

My youngest (4 - Preschool) is homeschooled. I actually do school with both of them in the summer - not rigid or strict school - just enrichment for Bryce and keeping Scotty fresh for the school year.

This year, I am also going to send Scotty to preschool at a local church. He will go two days a week for a few hours a day. Mostly, this is for social interaction. He is already pretty much beyond pre-k learning and we are almost ready to start with skills from Kindergarten (actually, we have already started some things, just not others).

If you are interested in homeschooling, please visit the homeschooling board. The ladies are GREAT there. We are a fun and friendly group and I promise you will leave with every question you have answered and then some!

Brandon will be starting public school in August. Our school is very good, it's brand new so it has some technology built in, they keep the ratio of kids relatively low, and it's only 2 blocks away inside of our subdivision.
