I'm David - probably can guess from the name that I'm a dad. I have a daughter who is 8 weeks old. I feel tired No medications, but must admit, in spite of the exhaustion sometimes it is near impossible, even when the baby is sleeping to get to sleep.

One of the issues my wife has is that while I know she'd like to connect with other women in a more dynamic way, getting out of the house is tough. If she could do it while she had Emma (our daughter) with her, from the house, things would be a lot easier.

Do any of you have any experience interacting over video sessions rather than going to live support groups?

If anyone has interest in this kind of group, one is happening for California moms only on September 8th. It is being moderated by a Harvard-trained family therapist for free. Around 10 moms will be participating. Some spaces are left - let me know if you want to hold one and I'll see what I can do.

it is nice that you are looking for support for your wife. I ended up chosing in person groups that had daycare provided and liked getting out of the house even with the kids. I hope that this will help your wife though
