I had an easy pregnancy with no complications. However around the middle of my pregnancy I started suffering from some panic attacks and depression. I started having lots of heart palpitations and PVCs. PVCs are when your heart has extra beats. It is harmless, but it is scary because it makes your heart feel like it will jump out of your chest. So, I had to get on Prozac to calm me down. It helped. When I was 39 weeks pregnant, I went in to be induced. The inducing did not work, so I had a unscheduled c section. My recovery from the surgery was easier than I expected. I had a case of baby blues, and upped my prozac to 40 mgs. But, around 3 months postpartum started getting worse depression. My meds were changed a few times. I am now on Lexapro 20 mgs. And, some days it is still hard. But, I will make it. I have learned that being a mother is hard. There are bad days and good days. But, I can't let the bad days destroy me....

My 1st pg was a cake walk as far as it goes. I lived at home (divorcing 1st husband) no bills no responsibility no job. The only thing was I had morning sickness the entire time. And I went 4 weeks and 2 days past due. I had bad PPD. I wouldn't pick up Klesi for 4 months. It went undiagnosed. Finally my parents just left the house for a weekend and it all clicked on how to mother her. Lucky for me it clicked that way, my OB said it could have ended badly, I might have hurt her since I was undiagnosed. My 2nd was easy. I had no symptoms other than a few days of morning sickness. I had placenta previa but it moved enough out of the way to deliver vag. No PPD that time. This one was hard. I was always having lower back pain. And morning sickness and really severe migrains through the enitre pg. Delivery was easy. Just don't feel "my self". I also have had many miscarriages. One before Kelsi lasted 7 weeks. One before Lillian lasted 8 weeks. Two after Lillian one was 8 weeks one was 10 weeks (my twins). I had to have a DNC to have them removed. Then I had Jodi.
