Hi ladies,
I got sciatica when I was pregnant with Gaby, and sometimes I get little twinges of it every now and then - but usually it doesn't last for much more than half a day - well I have had it now for the last three days & am in PAIN... my lower back.. my hips, my upper thighs.. just plain discomfort. Nothing really seems to help me, so I'm looking for more suggestions as to how to deal with it?? Sitting hurts. Standing hurts. Lying hurts. Blah. I know it's partly due to my weight - I've put on quite a lot over the past 6 months, so I know that won't be helping

Have you tried taking a muscle relaxer, usually when my pain get pretty extreme I take muscle relaxers, motrin, and use a heating pad, and that helps a bit, I had sciatica during pregancy and later found out that I have ruptured discs in my back, and a pinched nerve in my leg, if it does not get better in the next day or say, i would to the doctor.

I have sciatica issues as well as some buldging discs. I am pregnant with my third child and I have been seeing the chiropractor since I found out I was pregnant. It took about 5 sessions to get me on track and now.. WOW I feel so great throughout this pregnancy. Once in a while I wear the wrong shoes or sit in a chair that bothers me and I have to go back in for an adjustment but I will do just about anything to stay pain free. I hope the chriopractor works just as well for you. It is so worth it!!
