So, my husband and I have started to exercise. We ar eboth overweight, and want to try and be a little more healthy.

I know I have to take it easy, so he was going to walk on the treadmill, and
I would do the recumbant bike we have. I felt like sitting at a backward incline and using my legs would not be so bad.

I could only make it 8 minutes on the lowest resistance, and my heartrate was way high and my legs were killing me. I've heard that strong legs are helpful for labor - plus it would be some exercise for me.

I don't want to overdo it, but I wanted to get some exercise. I bought some pre-natal yoga DVDs, but haven't tried it yet. I wanted to do a couple of days on the bike, couple of days doing yoga. Taking it easy the whole way.

I've gone over the 250 pound mark and it's really killing me. I know that I can't lose weight right now, but I feel like if I can exercise a little, it will make me feel better. I was about 225 or so when I got pregnant - according to my home scale. My scale at home weighs about 15 pounds lighter than the doctor scale. So, that is annoying. So who really knows how much I weigh.

So, anyway, just venting. i also can't eat as much as I could a week ago. Guess my stomach is getting pushed into some crevice and can't have as much.

Eight minutes is better than no minutes!!!! If you keep it up, you'll pass that time before you know it!
I love the "Walk Away the Pounds" videos. Some of them even have some light resistance training with bands that will help tone up some muscles.
Keep up the great work, and if you feel frustrated POST!! We'll cheer you on!!!!

im not pregnant but the other day on monday the first time i excercised in a lolng long long time...after 15 mins of richard simmons i thought i was going to have a heart attack lol.... but eveyday its been a little easier!!!!

I know I just need to keep up with it. We're trying to do every other day. So, I exercised on Tuesday, and I will exercise again tonight. Hopefully I can make it to 10 minutes this time.
