What is considered spotting in your menstral cycle? Is it red or is it brown? Sorry in advance if TMI but I am on CD11 and still have brownish cm. I have endometriosis so this may cause the prolonged spotting...but has anyone else had this or has it now? This cycle I had 5 days of heavy-medium bleeding and 6 days of this brownish spotting. It's not enough to have to wear something but it is on the tp and a little bit on my underwear. And when I check cm internally I get sticky brownish cm. I usually have this every month, just wondering if it's normal.

I'd say spotting is brown, well that's how it is for me. Like brownish red, not so much.

hehehe, now you got me thinking

I believe spotting is considered any kind of flow that doesn't require anything like a pad or tampon. It is typically brown, because the amount of flow is so small, it flows out slower and gets more exposed to the air. Yours definately sounds like spotting- I typically get it for a day or two at the end of my flow - I don't have endo, but from what I know about it - it would make sense to me that you may have it longer. Good luck - I hope the spotting ends soon.
