So this week I called an OB/GYN to make a preconception appt and interview him. I want to have a midwife and home birth, but I also want an OB who is involved in my case and, should the need arise due to risk, deliver my baby with my birthing requests (in a hospital, obviously). My OB will need to agree to involve my midwife in my care and support my choice for homebirth, but if I must go to the hospital I want as little intervention as is necessary. I want my baby given to me and kept with me after the birth, no immediate vaccinations, no chemicals an antibiotics rubbed in their eyes, and I want the Cord to stop pumping blood before it is cut (takes about 2-8 mins), no pitocin or epidural. Lol does this make me sound crazy? My appt is the [email protected] 1030

Also, this has been the first month I've used red raspberry leaf and it seems to be helping with cramps. Hopefully it's Toning my uterus to hold a little bub

I don't think it makes you sound crazy at all. It is important to know what you want and to have a doctor that is on board with those things. I hope your appointment goes well!
