hi, i just joined this page and i dont know really what im looking for... help, encouragement, anything really... my hubby and i have been TTC for around 8 months now, and nothing. and i know im stressing about it and need to stop thinking about it, but its so hard to do when you want it so bad, and to make matters worse a few friends have become pregnant recently. i guess im looking for some tips to help me concieve or atleast ovulate, because since i went off the pill last jan my periods have been super irregular, and my doctor did a few tests and isnt sure why, she thinks i may have a cyst on one of my ovaries, and according to the blood test in march i wasnt ovulating at all, doc started me on metmorfin, with no luck. it seems my only options now are fertility drugs which im not really keen on taking... i dont know what to do... any impute would be appreciated. thanks!

Hello and glad you have joined us for advice and support.

The girls here have been trying for a long time so we know where your at.

Have you been using opk and charting your temp? This is highly recommended to know about your cycles.

Ditto to Clare!

Welcome to the forum. Everyone here is super supportive and there are a several ladies here who have dealt with fertility problems and not ovulating or other problems. hope we can be a support to you. It's easy to say to "relax" and "stop stressing" but telling that to someone who is TTC is like telling the sky not to be blue.

Sorry it is taking you guys so long. Not ovulating is one of my problems too, but I wanted to start with the fertility drugs right away. If you don't want to go that route there are OTC options like soy isoflavones or vitex or even acupuncture but I personally don't have any experience with those.

Thanks Bokkechick for my wonderful siggy!

Hello! Welcome to the board!

I'm late to this thread, but I just wanna say, take a look into OPK's (ovulation predictor kits) and temping (Ovulation Calendar and Ovulation Chart - Fertility Charting).

Hope your stay here is short and sweet!
