apparently, as rare as they can be, I get to be the lucky one to have not one, but multiple. sunday morning I took a FRER and a positive (faint but still there) line showed up after about a minute. at my doctors request, I went in and had blood work done right away. he calls me today and says "well your pregnancy test was negative". when I told him about my home one he said it is possible to get a positive that relates to ovulation (because so far my progesterone levels looked good). I was 9dpo (roughly, because I usually ovulate around day 12). I'm so tired of the emotional rollercoaster each cycle brings.

A false-positive might happen if you had a pregnancy loss soon after the fertilized egg attached to your uterine lining (biochemical pregnancy) or you take a pregnancy test too soon after taking a fertility drug that contains HCG.
