Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! The day before Thankgiving last year, my DH & I had our first u/s and found out that our baby had stopped growing two weeks earlier, and there was no heartbeat. I was hosting Thanksgiving dinner the next day and had family members already on their way. Have to say that was the saddest, most uncomfortable time for us - and for my family as well since we were basically sent home and told to wait for the impending miscarriage.

Fast forward to this Thanksgiving..... I'm now 24 weeks pregnant with an active little boy, and my family threw me a baby shower the Saturday after Turkey Day. It's amazing to me that just a year ago I was so miserable and thinking that we'd never have a child of our own.

It truly is amazing what a difference a year can make!
