So I was really getting depressed and extremely anxious about having to wait over a month to know if everything was ok with Peanut.

Then...last night I had some very strong, piercing pain on my left side. I woke up this morning just feeling "off", crampy, and spacey.

So....I called my OB/GYN office. They got me an appt. at 1:30pm. I told them about all my concerns and the midwife said we'd better do an u/s to be safe!

Good news: Peanut implanted in the right place! I was able to see the yolk sac and tiny fetal pole.
She said I was measuring at 6w5d, which I know is off and due to this being my 2nd pregnancy.

Bad news: No pics of the u/s - but that's ok, I know that Peanut is ok!!

Oh - most likely all my cramping and feeling weird is due to the corpus luteum cyst on my left ovary. She said it is normal and usually is more noticeable when its not your first pregnancy.

I am so glad that you were able to see your little peanut and to know that s/he is doing great in there. I remember having a lot of cramping in the first trimester. For some reason our bodies just take a while to get used to that. I am happy for you to have seen your little one though.
Thank you Mistyx5 for my siggy.

I had that same cramping for a couple weeks. I was told the same thing... so I guess it must be true. I thought my doc was just making something up to make me feel better

So glad all is going great! GROW BABY GROW!
