I've had 2 miscarriages and never waited for an "okay" to TTC again, because I had no physical reason to wait (the majority of the time for most women, there IS no physical reason to wait other than cycle regulation, which isn't that big of a deal in the end even if you DO get pg). For me it was emotional, and it was easier for me to start TTC right away again once I felt comfortable than to feel like I wasn't "allowed" to.

my OB told us we didn't have to wait any amount of time and I was induced at 20 weeks after my baby died. We did wait one month, then it didn't happen the next, but did the month after that. I found out I was pregnant on the 3 month anniversary of my baby dying.

well it looks like I gotta wait at least one cycle. He says I'm having my period now, so that's the first and I have to wait for the next one so we can do the xray of my cervix and have my uterus heal properly.
