Well, I finally started buying stuff with the idea that I'll have a newborn in June. Its starting to sink in...

I'm a cloth diaperer, but didn't start till DD was about 6 months old, so this week I bought stuff for diapering a newborn. Most of my stash is Bumgenius one size, along with prefolds and covers. For the baby I bought Bumgenius bamboo fitteds (clearanced - yay) and thirsties covers. I try to keep everything neutral in color, but I did give in and buy a pink Horton Bumkins cover. DD loves Horton Hears a Who so I thought she might get into helping take care of the baby with that dipe.

I also did the Old Navy Maternity deal - I got 2 new long sleeve shirts, a hoodie sweater, and pants.

Finally, (here's the big part of the spree) I got a new car!!! I'm officially the "soccer mom" now because I got a 2008 Grand Caravan. It's not the fanciest model with DVD and stuff, but it does have all sorts of kid/convience gadgets...like power sliders. I've never had a car that was for ME and this definitely is....DH is not in love with it, but I think the convience of it will win him over.

I'm usually quite the spendthrift so this has been a big week for me!

Sounds wonderful, Kelly. I'm still on a shopping spree with my baby girl.

My dh was the same way with mini vans until we got one and then he loved it, they are so practical.
