I am so excited I am posting this everywhere lol.
I go to a parent group on a wednesday morning, and a lady there has a little boy that is about 4 or 5 months old. She has a swinging crib kinda like this one.....

Anyways, she has never used it because the mattress she bought for it didnt fit right and she never got round to buying one that did. Her dad just bought her a new mattress for it that fits but doesnt wanna put her baby in it because he is starting to roll ect....so she is giving it to me. She doesnt even want anything for it, she wants it out of the way lol. So she is going to bring it up for me some time next week

My first weight loss goal is to lose 21lbs, which is 10% of my body weight

That's great. I love not having to buy stuff like this since let's face it, they aren't in it for long.

Aww Kate, that is gorgeous. I love mine, I have the Mamas and Papas one, got it off ebay for 8 quid!!! I actually wanted one with solid wood ends but when I saw this one in person, I loved it. I did go out and buy a new mattress that was 5cm thick since she would be in it for a while. The only problem I have found with mine is it is a bit longer than the standard ones so have a hard time finding fitted sheets for it.

Gabriella will be 4 months old on Sat and she still has loads of growing room in there. We put her in her cotbed once a week to get her used to it but she will sleep anywhere. I hope to keep her in it for another month or so. It's so much easier when nursing her.

We bought some caster wheels from Wilkos dirt cheap and we can wheel her around when needed.

Best money spent on furniture.

How are you feeling today? and how is Jordan and Lily-Mae? Bet they are excited!

Thanks ladies

Pamela did you find somewhere to get fitted sheets from for the crib? Or is it a standard problem? Im sure I will make do with flat sheets if I cant find any though lol.

Im feeling great today, I have had a little more spotting but I checked with the doppler and baby has a good strong h/b and is wriggling around in there so Im not worried. Im only gonna call my midwife if it continues and/or gets any worse or if I start cramping too. I still feel a little sick though, I was hoping it would have stopped now but I cant complain, I feel tons better than I did a couple of weeks ago. The worst thing at the moment is the tierdness. But when I had my scan yesterday she told me there is no yolk sac now so the placenta has totally taken over so I should start feeling better really soon.

Jordan is really excited about the baby, but he keeps saying he wishes the 'angel baby' could be here too which upsets me a little But he is really happy about this baby. He seems to have the same fears as me though even though I dont talk about them in front of him. He always asks if the baby is ok, or if it is 'ill' like the last one was. Bless him, hes an awesome big brother Lily isnt really showing any interest in the baby yet, but I am sure she will once h/she comes along lol x

So happy to hear you are feeling better but hate that you've had to deal with the spotting. Your lo's are so cute. I can imagine it would be diferent with Jordan, what a sweetheart to remember your angel. Ethanael was like Lily-Mae at first but then he would talk to my belly and try to feel the kicks when I was further along. He does really good with her but it has been an adjustment.

When you get your cradle, measure it, I have found that the one I have is longer and that's where my issue was. There is one place on ebay that sells them in a 2 pack for about 6 pounds plus shipping. I ended up getting 4 from babies r us, the measurements were a few cm's shorter but if I stretch them before putting them on they will fit. I had bought one that was 80cm long and although it fit, it squished in the mattress too much so those just went on the moses basket. Most of the sheets are 80cm or less and wider.

Here is Gabriella's

Not sure if it's still on, but wilkos has their huggies on sale for 3.99 a pack and make sure you get your bounty packs, decent samples but good coupons.
