Hi All!

I am 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I have never had a problem getting pregnant but I miscarried in December and had a chemical pregnancy in April. I had bloodwork done at 4 weeks and 4 days. My doctor started me on prometrium 200 mg a day without getting my blood results back because of my history. My initial results came back strong. My Hcg was 634 and my progesterone (b4 starting the prometrium) was 24.2. My Dr. retested me two days later at 4 weeks and 6 days and my Hcg went to 1660 and my progesterone went to 58 (two nights of taking the prometrium). My Dr. says my initial progesterone number was strong and the increase is strong but he does not want to take my off the prometrium completely so he lowered the dose to 100 mg a night. I know my numbers are strong and I may not have needed the prometrium to begin with, but I am still scared about taking the lower dose.....anyone had a similar experience??? Thanks!
