Well, I had a regular, 4D, and tvu u/s today.

The baby looks good, he's 2lbs 1 oz., he is in the frank breech position, and was yawning, hiccuping, and taking practice breaths for us. He is still definitely a he, and was so cute sucking on he little toes and pulling on his cord.

That was the good news.

They did the tvu, I only have 1.8CM left, and I am funneled to the stitch. So, my OBs came to a consensus, I'm giving strict bedrest a try, and I am going back weekly now. If things don't improve or stay stable or I start dilating, they're sending me for hospital bedrest.

Oh honey, I'm sorry! I hope that you can stay at home. Bed rest sucks, I'm sure, but at home has got t to be better than the hospital!

oh no, bed rest doesn't sound like fun but better to rest at home than in the hospital, i hope you're able to avoid that. HUGS

I'm so glad baby is doing so well right now. He's getting big! And, he needs to bake for a little while yet, so.....
I also need to say that I"m so sorry about the bed rest. I only had a few days of it with my 1st PG. It's rough. Hopefully you can do it at home and avoid the hospital. Good thing they found out that it's necessary. Now you can take it easy, follow doctor's orders, and let your little guy grow. I'm thinking of you and hoping everything goes well with the bedrest.
