Hi everyone, i havent been on in awhile and just wanted to say Hi and give an update, I am now 13 weeks pregnant! saw/heard the heartbeat and everything is going really well, I got pregnant exactly one month after my d&c, Also have a question. In pregnancy is it normal for your cervix to change from usually being pretty hard and long to shorter/soft and slightly open at the very tip, not like you can stick your whole finger in but I thought i'd check on day and the tip seem's slightly open like a finger tip can fit in but no go any further, im not bleeding or anything and i've had numerious ultrasounds and had some swabs taken at my 8 week visit, a scan at 11 weeks and they never mentioned anything about my cervix looking open during exam or ultrasound so i just thought i'd see if anyone else felt like this too? everything else is fine though :-) i'd think my doc would say if something was wrong.

Ah! I just tried to post and it disappeared. Hopefully it won't double post! I have never really checked my cervix, so I'm of no help. I think you should ask your doc/caregiver about it at your next appt. That way any worries you have can be alleviated. It's great to hear you're doing well and that things are going great. Glad you could update. Congrats on the second trimester! Take care and KUP!

I agree with Kelty, just ask your doc. I've never checked my cervix much, so I have no clue. I'm so glad all is well with you and baby though.
