his motility was 90% and volume was 4.0 but my ob still wants us to see a urologist. im so discouraged..this has me so upset-more so than when i found out i wasnt ovulating. is there anyone out there who got pregnant with a low sperm count? any suggestions?

After many months of hopes and heartbreaks DH and I started the testing. I was told I ovulated "a few times a year" and that DH had very low motility and low sperm count. It was horrible news. I know there is always hope, IVF, addoption (my oldest son is addopted and its wonderful) but I wanted to be pregnant. I felt empty and defective as our friends and my sisters got pregnant. I started seeing a naturopath based in Chinese medicine and mannaged to convince DH to come too. Diffrent things work for diffrent people but I believe if I hadnt done the treatment with the naturopath (cleanse, accupuncture, herbs and castor oil packs) I would not be having a baby soon.
Good luck! Keep faith and get comfort from the people in your life who wont put pressure on you, there are so many wonderful women on this site and its nice to be a part of a sisterhood. There is a lot of things a man with low spern count can do! As a result of seeing the Naturopath my DH also lost about 40 pounds and his blood pressure went from needing daily madication to being normal on its own. For us it was a blessing in disguise...I will be thinking of you.

I have heard that accupuncture really helps to regulate O'ing - it worked for a friend of mine. I hope you find the right path for you!
