Hello all!

I am new to Just Mommies. I am 32 and a mother of 2, a son who is 10 and a daughter who is 5. My husband and I have been trying for some time to have a 3rd child. I had a miscarriage on 11-18-05 at 6 weeks and then another one on 2-14-06 at 11 wks 5 days. I had a D&C on 2-15-06. Just found out yesterday after being test by a RE that I have MTHFR. Anyone have the same thing as me?

I *think* that is a genetic enzyme disorder that may cause multiple miscarriages and birth defects. Am I right?

I am sorry for your losses. Welcome, Angela, to our group. Glad to have you.

Welcome to our group Angela. I'm not sure of what that stands for either, tho I have seen it here & there online.

I'm sorry for your losses too.
