I went to get a 3d u/s done, cause I needed to know for sure that she was a she. LOL
And we are 100% positive now that she's a girl!!!!!!
Here are some pics:

I have a question. We could see that the umbillical cord is right by her neck and she likes to pull on it and play with it. I'm worried that she'll get tangled up once she flips head down. Were any of you told that the umbilical cord was by the baby's neck??? Was the dr. worried??

She's adorable. I was wondering the same thing about the cord. My placenta is low near my cervix and I've seem u/s pics of my little girl playing with her cord. She's head down and so far my peri hasn't commented on it. I need to ask him. Sorry I don't have an answer though.

Yay!! Congratulations!!!! She is beautiful

Logan had his umbilical cord right by his face in almost EVERY ultrasound. He also played with it alot, and at one ultrasound, he hugged it and fell asleep It doesn't mean there will be a problem, but I definitely understand the worry! Maybe talking to your doctor about your concern would help?

So pretty. Alot of babies come through the birth canal with the cord around the neck. Not trying to scare you ,but all my kids were that way. I even had c-sectins and they are just fine... Congrats on your little girl

I can't help with the question about can the cord get tangled around the baby if she is playing with it in the u/s. With DD though, her cord was around her neck when born. The OB said that was why it took so long to push her out. He said her cord was acting like a bungee cord and kept sucking her back in. After her head came out he told me not to push and he quickly cut her cord from around her neck. She didn't have any problems and was perfect. I have been a little worried about it again. I looked it up online and read that it is pretty common. Most of the time it doesn't cause problems because the baby gets oxygen from momma (not through breathing) and the cord is able to stretch. If the cord stretches too much it can cause the baby's heart rate to decrease and if it doesn't come back then a c-section is a possibility.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Congrats on having a baby girl and being 100% positive!

aw what a beautiful baby girl you have!! those are such good pics!!!

Regarding the umbilical cord - it is nice & long, and it is common for babies to pull on them, and play with them, during pregnancy... it always worries me when i see the umbilical cord is near Emersyn's neck, but the u/s tech last time I was there, assured me that it is quite normal & not anything to worry about
