Just wanted to update in here I had some bleeding and cramping yesterday.

I have a DR appointment this morning at 9am.

Update:

The baby is fine thankfully, but there was some reason for concern.

I have a fibroid that is currently the same size as the baby. It's grown A LOT in the last week (doubled in size from my 11 week u/s the DR said). The DR said small ones are very common but mine was really big and growing.

He says it shouldn't cause me to miscarry but could cause bleeding and if it continues growing could be a comfort/pain issue for me and could be a space issue for baby later in pregnancy.

He said a lot of times by 20 weeks the baby has overtaken them so hopefully that's what happens.

I bled more after the exam but it seems to have slowed. I'm on pelvic rest and "don't overdo it" rest.

Sorry I took so long to update, I had plans with a friend today.

Let us know how it goes! I actually had spotting myself during the second trimester. I can't remember exactly when I stopped taking progesterone but as I recall my spotting didn't have anything to do with stopping.

Glad baby is doing fine! Hopefully the fibroid issue will resolve itself as baby gets bigger.
