And I am all ready a nervous wreck and having nightmares about it! Why or why can't my "new normal" not include insane pregnancy fears? I dreamed I was having contractions yesterday and going into early labor.

Thank you so much for the support. The scan went AWESOME! It's is a boy!!! He was sucking his thumb a lot and it was just amazing what you can see on the ultrasound. His little heart chambers pumping away, all his fingers and toes - even his little ribs and spine. He was very, very wiggly. I think I watched the DVD about a hundred times today!

I"m sorry. After loss, pregnancy kinda losses it's magical nature. I understand what You're going through, I've had 4 early losses and one loss of twins at 11w... so now that I'm pregnant again I feel the same.

Good luck! I hope the ultrasound helps with some of your fears.

I used to be nothing but excited for ultrasounds...now I'm scared out of my wits. I hope all goes beautifully and that it ends up giving you truckloads of peace of mind.

I bawl everytime I have an ultrasound. I think it is so hard because I know that if there is a problem, I am about to find out about it and that fear is overwhelming.

I hope your appointment is early in the morning so you don't have to worry all day. I hope you hear a beautiful heartbeat and that baby has everything that is supposed to be there and it's all right where it belongs. I'm looking forward to the update!!

Good luck! It's so hard to get through the scans. But, I will have to say that after my anatomy scan, that was the first time I allowed myself to think that we might carry the pregnancy to term. It didn't get rid of all my fears but it did help a lot.

Thanks guys! It is so great to have a group of ladies that totally get it!

Marti - When is your scan to confirm the NT scan?

Liz - I can't believe it is time for Emmitt to be here! It seems like just last month you were getting your BFP and I was joining TTCAL!

Markswife - I always schedule for the first appointment of the day - that way I don't have to freak out all day long and they don't have too much time to get behind. Waiting rooms tend to send the freak out mode into high gear!

My NT scan went so well that my OB didn't think I needed an extra level II with the peri so my next scan is 8/4 I'll be 20w1d. Thanks for asking

I can't wait to hear how your scan goes tomorrow! Are you still thinking pink?

Wonderful news! So cute that he was sucking his thumb....I don't know if that will translate to outside the womb, but I have a thumb sucker. Its a blessing when they are little (but a bit tough to break now).

CONGRATS on your son!!
