So my brownish tinged CM has continued the last couple days.. its not a lot.. and it looks more like mucus than blood.. but it has a definite brownish look to it.. and i just cant help feeling pretty panicky about it...

i am looking forward to when my doppler gets here.. but of course if i cant find the heart beat i know ill be making a run to my dr... probably on monday..

Why?! i was feeling so confident.. and then a stupid slight change in CM can make me just fall apart again..

Em.... I hope it's nothing. The placenta is taking over right about now and it always seems to cause changes.

I spotted, bled, and even passed clots for weeks with this pregnancy. My cervix felt soft and really open. A few times I was 100% certain it was over. I rented a doppler and didn't even want to touch it in fear. When I did finally pick it up and try, nothing. I tried for an hour. I knew it was over. I am not "new" to dopplers. I know how to find the HB, so I really felt like it was the end. A few days later I figured I would try one last time before sending it back. Nice strong HB right away. I was in tears and shaking so bad. I was just looking in the wrong spot.

At 11-12 weeks it seemed to be the hardest to pick up the HB. The baby is just so wiggly at that point

Have you thought about putting a call into your OB for the bleeding. They will probably order an ultrasound and that should give you lots of reassurance that everything is going as planned.

Lots of coming your way.

On 1/31/12 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon.
If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
On August 2, 2012 we lost Sarah at 17 weeks. Her pictures can be viewed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahdarrohn
There is no known explanation for my losses.
