So I called the office this morning, since I had that other bleed on Friday afternoon after the office closed... some messages got mixed up, they thought I had been bleeding SINCE Friday and demanded I come in almost at once for an ultrasound! I was really scared that they knew something I didn't, was panicked really, but it turns out that the baby is doing GREAT!!! Measuring 2 days ahead now, with a nice heartbeat of 170. I got the abdominal scan this time - yay for no more vajayjay probes.

It really looks like a person now!!! Last time it was like an alien sea creature with a tail, but now it has ears, nose, hands, everything!! I said "OMG I really hope it's a boy because that is a HUGE schnozz" - there was one sweep where the nose just looked absolutely ginormous!!! (That's from daddy ) I was laughing so hard that the tech lost track of the baby with my stomach jostling too much It was so exciting, I loved it. The baby was rolling around a bit and seemed to wave at us once with one arm!

My OB checked me out too, my cervix is closed and my uterus is not at all tender and it is the right size, so that is all good!!!!! I also got a flu shot which is nice to get out of the way. So I am very happy and much at ease now. I'm glad I got to actually see bub instead of just waiting another 2 weeks to hear the heartbeat on the Doppler. All's well that ends well.
