I had a miscarriage a couple months ago and I was wondering if this could have caused it....

I was areound 12weeks and my finace and I got in an arguement. He got mad and grabbed the chair I was sitting on threw it, which made me fall to the ground. He was really mad and started tossing me around. He's not abusive, but something snapped in him. I guess we made up a couple of hours later and had sex, but he was kind of rough. After I went to the bathroom and when I wiped and there was light pink blood, I thought maybe we had sex too rough and it would be ok, because I had had spotting one time before. Well the bleeding got worse over the next couple of days and on day 3 I had an at home misscarriage and saw everything come out. I was wondering if the fight did cause the miscarrige would I have had my the actual passing of the baby so soon because I know some women are told by their doctors it takes like 2weeks before they'll have a natural miscarige.

I also thought maybe it jump started the miscarrige, like I already lost the baby before the fight and it just caused it to happen quicker.

This has really been bothering me and I would like any help. Thank you.

I don't know if that could have caused it... With this pregnancy I have fallen on the bus, slipped on ice, had sex several times and my baby is fine!

Your fiance IS abusive! My husband has never ONCE thrown anything at me or hit me in anyway. Violence is never ok from either partner!

I'm very sorry for your loss, but I agree with the other ladies. It doesn't matter if it hasn't happened before, or if he "snapped", it IS abuse and it IS punishable by law. It is impossible to say if it caused your miscarriage or not....but please don't take that chance again.

That is abusive, never is it ok to do that to you when you are pregnant.. he should have claimed himself down he shouldn't have tooken the chair from under you. Stress wouldn't have cased anything, but since he did what he did and you fell that could have.

I agree with the others, there is no way to know if it caused your miscarriage, but the actions are abusive. Please be careful and protect yourself.
