Today I started finding a little brown blood when I wiped. Of course I freaked out and about had a panic attack, and now I'm having some cramping too. I'm not sure if I'm causing the cramping myself through worrying, but I just can't seem to calm down and relax. Ugh. Why???!!!

I know cramping and spotting at 5 weeks can be nothing, but both my previous miscarriages started this way, so I pretty much know what's coming

Especially when it's brown blood. That usually means it's older. I'm hoping it's nothing. Will you call your OB tomorrow and try to get in? I'm so sorry you're going through this. I'm hoping for the best for you!!!

Brown blood is old blood and usually a by product of implantation. I had spotting and cramping either my 4th or 5th week. Can't remember exactly. I am now 13 weeks . Cramping is very normal. Is it severe or just mild/achy? Are you going to call the dr or go to the ER? I hope its nothing and you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Thanks .:Shortcake:. for my great siggie

Yes, especially if you are freaking out, the cramping could be really nothing. Make sure you're staying hydrated and try to relax (I know, if only it were that easy!) And a little bit of brown spotting is VERY common in early pregnancy. It could very well be nothing at all. If you have a nice doctor, you may be able to get in for an u/s for reassurance. KUP, I hope everything is fine!!!

I know it's scary hun! I had only had losses before this pregnancy and spotting was the first sign. However I spotted with this pregnancy too! I had bright red spotting the entire first trimester! Some ladies have super sensitive cervixes during pregnancy. Even the motion of walking can irritate it!

Yes I agree, it's probably just old blood and biproducts of implantation. I'm keeping you in my prayers!!!
