Yesterday I had some brown tinged CM, but I was feeling pretty good because I saw nothing today that alarmed me at all. Well, I just went to the bathroom (#2) so I was pushing and now my CM is tinged red. What do I do??

Thank you, tasha_mae, for my very special siggy!

If it is just tinged CM it could be nothing. I had that after a #2 and it freaked me out. I ended up calling my doctor and went in for an ultrasound to make sure baby was doing well. I don't know if your doctor would do that for you. If it gets worse, you can go to an ER. But, if you are having constipation like I had with my early pregnancy, it could be from pushing too hard.

Thank you *kiliki* for my beautiful siggy!

Ditto with Rachel. Go to the ER if you are worried, but the same thing happened with me a few different times early on in this pregnancy due to constipation. Scared me! But all was ok in the end. I hope all is ok with you and that is all it is.

Being constipated and pushing to hard can cause red spotting. I had it a few times as well. If you just had the spotting and nothing else I would probably be more worried. However if you are overly stressed or worried a trip to the dr or ER could help. So sorry you have to worry. Its the worst part of PAL.

Thanks .:Shortcake:. for my great siggie

I had red spotting from an SCH (basically like a bruise in my uterus - quite common) and my little girl was just fine. ((((hugs))))

Thank you Kiliki for my first beautiful Siggie!
