Is the hardest thing Ive ever done. My heart is shattered in a million pieces as I watch my 18yr old son leave with his Srgnt. for the Army. I cant describe in words what this was like, all I can say is cherrish every day with your little ones, they grow up so fast and before you know it, they are no longer your little ones.....but grown men and women who will leave your home and go off and start their lives.

Please pray for his safety and the start of wonderful career for him. He will always be my little boy, my first born, the love of my life. I see him in my mind holding his first Easter basket, with wonder and excitement at the age of 1, and now I saw him today as a man, the little boy who I cared for and loved over the last 18yrs.
momma of 8 beautiful children now. Most recent is Jerry Jr. born 11/19/12 at 37wk, 7lbs 6oz and 19.5inches and Baby Reymundo born 10/7/13 at 35w6d, 6lbs 7oz, 19.5 inches. Momma of 5 angels. New siggy to come!

I have 3 brothers in the Army. I will pray for your son just as I pray for my brothers. I can't believe in 18 short years this baby might be moving out of my house too. I hope I can cherish her as much as possible. You are an amazing momma.

Thank you *kiliki* for my beautiful siggy!

The time does fly for sure. Congrats to your son, serving your country is never an easy choice, but it is admirable!

When they persisted in questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let the person among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." John 8:7

I cannot imagine and have tears reading your post. Thank you to your son for his dedication to serve and thank to you your family, for letting him go to serve. I have two "little" boys and I just can't fathom the day they leave to go off on their own. ((BIG HUGS))
