I had my "limited" anatomy scan today at my high risk dr's office so they could get an idea of how the babies are doing before they start getting cramped in there and it's difficult to get measurements. Everything looks wonderful with both of them! We were going to stay on team green, but the number of people asking what we're having, and trying to figure out room arrangements, etc really started getting to us so we decided to find out. Baby A is most definitely a boy. He flashed me at my emergency u/s at 13 weeks and it was obvious then. He is not shy at all. Baby B is a stubborn little booger with a cord that likes to get in the way. The tech had to have the doctor make the call, because she wasn't comfortable doing it. He says he's 95% sure B is a boy as well. Because they're the same gender and my placenta looks the way it does he says there is a 20% chance that they're identical. I hadn't even entertained that thought, because we had 3 follicles when we did our IUI. One turned into a huge cyst, and I just assumed that both eggs fertilized. When they were in separate sacs I was almost certain of it. I got back in 4 weeks for my Level II u/s, and if B is still a boy we'll be waiting until birth to see if they're identical or fraternal. I'm adding pics, but we didn't get the awesome tech today. The pics are pretty stinky.

the best we got of Baby A

the best we got got Baby B (sucking his thumb )

the only one we got of them together (heads and some random body parts)

Thank you Jaidynsmum for my beautiful siggy!

Wow! It is amazing to see a twin ultrasound. I don't get to see them much. And boys! I am partial to identical twin boys since I have just that as brothers! They are very alike but SO different! Man I am so happy for you!!! When is your non-limited anatomy scan?

Thank you *kiliki* for my beautiful siggy!

Lori - This is so precious! Wow, twin boys. My older 2 are 16 months apart and extremely close now that they are older. I can only imagine the connection if they were twins.

Congratulations!!! Very special

Very cool. I have not seen many twin sonos when they are that big, but still able to be seen in the same shot. I love it.

Congrats on your SONS!! That is awesome. We love having two boys here. I always wanted my son to have a brother because I have two brothers who are amazingly close. Your little lady will have TONS of protectors
